Bro, I've been saying this for ages.. There ain't no need for Vande Bharat or any fancy train in Jharkhand cities... The demand here is for regular superfast trains and if there's demand, it's to connect Jharkhand cities to metro cities, Gujarat cities, states that create jobs like Goa, Kerala, etc. This arrogant government and their celebrity ministers who became ministers without winning public support, thanks to the Rajya Sabha, they are absolutely unwilling to understand the railway route issues, that's why the condition of trains has deteriorated in this so-called "golden period", instead of speeding up, trains are slowing down, no focus on common public-friendly trains, they are just forcing PR down our throats.

Firstly, Ranchi's air connectivity is already very good, so if railways don't fulfill the demand, it's happening through airways

Secondly, there aren't even enough tourists or passengers traveling from the stations on Ranchi to Vande Bharat route to Varanasi, so there's no need for a train running all seven days because Varanasi is not a metro city.

Thirdly, even if this train is rerouted via Dhanbad, there will only be an increase in patronage of 100 seats on weekends and 50-100 seats on weekdays but it still won't be full

Fourth, as an ex-resident of Dhanbad, I know for a fact that people haven't started taking trains to Bokaro from Dhanbad because Dhanbad is already well-connected to Varanasi. This can start once the Bokaro airport becomes operational

Fifth, it's not getting any importance from Koderma, Gaya either because first of all the Vande Bharat hype has already burst and secondly, there's not much demand from either of these stations to Varanasi and the current trains easily fulfill whatever demand exists.
