The heart of the country under a cool night sky!

The 15818 Donyi Polo Express stopped at Helem to wait for the 20506 Rajdhani Express heading to Dibrugarh via Rangapara North to pass by.

The Himalayan foothills are close by and because this station is in the middle of nowhere, it's common to see leopards and other wild animals around during the night.

des Desh ki jaan ki takat ek saaf raat ke aasman ke neeche!

15818 Donyi Polo Exp Helem mein atki reh gayi thi Dibrugarh jaane wali 20506 Rajdhani Exp se takraane ke liye jo Rangapara North ke raaste se ja rahi thi.

Himalaya ke pahadon ke kinare bahut nazdeek hain aur yeh station door hone ke karan, raat ko aksar bagh aur anya junglee janwaron ke dawar lagte hain.

Check out Howrah (HWH) WAP 4 #22528 sporting a cool cream-red look, going through some last testing & maintenance in its final IOH schedule. If all goes as planned, this loco will be chilling in the trip shed by tonight or latest by tomorrow morning.

Howrah (HWH) WAP 4 # 22528 ek nostalgic cream-red ke kapde mein hai, jo necessary testing aur maintenance ka final round complete kar raha hai apne IOH schedule ke final phase mein. Agar sab kuch theek hua, to loco aaj raat tak ya latest kal subah tak trip shed mein hoga.

Mere dil se shukriya sabhi Eastern Railway headquarters aur Electric Loco Shed Howrah ke officials ka jo hamare rail enthusiasts ki har koshish ko poori tarah se support karte hain.

Dusri baat, shukriya meri team ke rail enthusiasts: Anamitra Bose, Raktim Bhattacharjee & Sumit Nath ko jo hamesha apna best dete hain har kaam mein.

Yo, for the first time ever, Sealdah WAP 7 + Sealdah Rajdhani 🤩❤️ !! So dope!

Check this out: Sealdah (SDAH) WAP 7 # 30330 (equipped with Kavach & retrofitted with HOG) cruising past Dakshineswar with 12313 Up Sealdah - New Delhi Rajdhani Express, which peeps in the rail community call the "Queen of ER."

ER already had this cool setup where the loco shed and train shared the same name - like the Howrah loco (WAP4 / WAP 7) pulling the prestigious Howrah Rajdhani Express. After Sealdah got its own WAP-7 locos, rail fans have been dreaming of the day when a Sealdah WAP-7 will drag the Sealdah Rajdhani. And guess what? Our wishes have been granted and now ER has another unique loco+train combo to brag about.
