i thought the West Coast Rail Yathri Development Committee was asking this for a extn to MAQ but they have asked it for SBHR.. Its a nice move though... At the same point i am wondering why no development requests have been put forth by them for MAJN.

Looking at the CC of this train iam confused with HB1. Is it 3A cum 1A?. If it is so it would be a special coach. I haven't seen one in any of southern rail zones. Does NWR posses such coaches?
Timings can be tweaked so as to depart MAJN at 17:00 and reach CSTM at 07:00. In the return direction it can leave CSTM at 18:00 to reach MAJN at 08:00.
The current timings are just perfect ppl can reach cstm before 5 so ppl can reach home without much traffic block.The timings are just perfect for gaon who travels every eekend in this train In the return direction if it departs at 6 pm it will reach madgaon at inconvinient time where almost 75 percent of the passengers get down.And also it will b difficult for the people to board this train after their office hours,, I think Madgaon deserves a convient timing than majn if we are taking passengers in account .Presently... more...
the majn quota remains vacant almost all the says and if the timings are changed it will lose madgaon passengers also.
Most of the passengers travelling in this train gets down at goa and many passengers getting down at majn usually takes connecting train to kerala.Mangaloreans usually prefer matsyagandha.80 percent of the passengers travelling in this train are from goa and kerala
New train between mumbai and mangalore wont materialize soon as the 2 trains are not running in high waitinglist but ofcourse there will be new trains between kerala and mumbai which mangaloreans can use
