Internet voting may be easy but untenable, because there is a well documented lack of technical literacy among the masses and the secrecy of voting can't be guaranteed which is the basic necessity for any voting procedure.

May be it is a better idea but it has its issues like, How can you change the ballot papers and symbols for a single or multiple persons, there will also be need to carry ballot paper or list of every constituency in every polling booth and you have to have a different EVM and Control Unit for different constituency in every polling booth. That will also gives rise to transportation issues as well.

Postal ballot can be used but it may lead to the case of single point failure, like they will all be delivered at Post Office at the RO's office. If the post man is "bought" he might not deliver the votes, which might go to other person.

Voh sahi hai par vote karne ke bad sirf special ballot box mein hi dalna nahi hai. I think it would be better to make legislation that if a person has to vote in any election, he would get at most 4 days of paid leave irrespective of where he works and this is mandatory for every employer to approve whether private or government. If they want proof that the employee voted or not, they can check for the ink mark and take necessary actions if he didn't. This would be better than other options, I think. The onus vote lies on the people, if they don't want to vote, no matter how easy you make it to vote, they won't and if they want to vote, they would.

The problem will not be how to vote, the problem will be the sacredness and secretiveness of the voting process, because you can't guarantee the secrecy of the vote when there is a second person is involved in any way. Online voting through polling booth would mean nothing because you still have to visit them defeating the very purpose of online voting.
