#Opinion!!! I truly believe that IR really underestimated the number of Electric Passenger locomotives they would need for the future. Because under the Mission 100% Electrification they would need a much greater amount of Eloco for Passenger services than Freight. The fact that CR and other zones are facing this Eloco shortage issue shows the negligence of IR shown towards the Passenger services and money. I also understand there stance towards trainsets and that being the future but there progress is really really slow. Pls reflect your opinion and view in this thread.
Indian Railways ordered for the preparation of DPR's for 160 kmph upgradation of DELHI - HOWRAH, DELHI - MUMBAI, HYDERABAD - BENGALURU, HYDERABAD - CHENNAI, BENGALURU - CHENNAI routes somewhere in December I guess... Any update on this so far???
Upgradations are underway on Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah. Tracks and sleepers are being upgraded. Kawaach installation will commence later. Sections are being energized with 2x25 KV OHE. Fencing is being done on small patches.
This coupler is similar to HOG coupler but this one is not used for HOG. HOG will utilize 2 couplers and not one. Plus there is no signal port in the middle of the frame that just sends signals and information to EOG with the HOG so.
Can we make a list of all the sections of IR which are sanctioned for 130 kmph ? All the sections, even which is existing for long.. Thanks in Advance.
