Train is punctual in reaching Kochuveli. It may not suit working people as the timing at YPR is odd.

Siddharth S^~ 23608 blog postsIts better to go and take a open ticket at bangalore city and board the UR coaches of this train- the number of UR coaches exceed the reserved coaches and the conditions in them are better than the reserved coaches as we atleast feel satisfied of not paying reservation charges
This is the best train to travel between the cities when no tickets are available- just go and capture the seat- Train is put on the platform early so its easier to secure the seat if we too are early- Daily office goers generally come in late and dont bother a seat and long distant passengers are lesser by this train

So this train is generally hindupur-mysuru memu, in case anyone travelling in hindupur bengaluru route intermediate stations can buy tickets for mysuru or any enroute stations and same for return train also.

yes literally while boarding at mantralayam road we found it very difficult as these people will be blocking the way in and also finding our berth & settling in our seats also will be a tough job. Hope rpf are deployed as tte was helpless to control, even wait listed passengers who aren't eligible to board train argue with tte for seats. there was also chain pulling incident near kupgal station where stop is eliminated now, many got down and ran away as it was pitch dark, no police to catch also.

Sushruth_89 79 blog postsThose boarding at sbhr can reach station well in time as ksrtc buses are available from kukke bus stand, one at 7:30 & other at 8:30 especially for these trains, hot veg pulav will be available at the station or one can have dinner at kukke temple & arrive at the station. Once train departs at 10:15 from kukke rpf closes all the doors as robbers will be waiting at each of the tunnels to board & rob passengers, doors are opened only at sakleshpura
