why this train is being destroyed, it no longer feels like a duronto train. Skipping major cities and stopping at villages, some stops after Delhi should be removed and koderma don't deserve the stoppage. Stop ruining Kolkata trains.

Somewhere have the feeling inside, and would be happy if am proved wrong that all trains inaugurated by their political opponents have been gradually made to bite the dust step by step deteriorating their caliber by this regime.
Be it Bhopal Shatabdi( inaugurated by Scindia in commemoration of Nehru's birth centenary), Garib Rath by Lalu( it was the high court order that saved it from getting pushed to darkness), Sampark Kranti by Nitish Kumar( by giving stops outside their home state( still somewhat was able to survive), Yuva by Mamta Di, Janshatabdi by Nitish Kumar now gradually replaced by VBs and particularly this one Duronto (inaugurated by Mamta Di as premium non stop connection between major centres).

Difficult to achieve , ECR won't release.. State wise also SER( would be then a Jharkhand based zone after KGP div transfer) is more suitable for Dhanbad then ER

Itna jyada bifurcation on field staff/SSE/running crew ke liye mushkil hoga...NCR prayagraj ka is section mein involvement rahne diya jaaye.
Jhansi division ka jyadar area to UP mein hai but, state level intercities chalane mein dikkat ayegi. MB with NCR is ok
wo to already officially under implementation mein hai. OSD appoint hue hai isko materialize karne ke liye
I do not want this. But its the rail administration that is pushing public to think so. State wise divisions is also practically not feasible for IR, but now a days trains are not provided with out political pressure. Politicians back only those trains that serve their vote bank and don't seem to bother about zonal boundary regions lying in other state and hence they suffer. Biggest sufferer for example is CIC/Singrauli.
Agreed that all states can not have their separate own zone. its economically not viable. In the provided list, KR not required, Goa would be under SWR only. Rest of the list will roughly serve the areas related to zonal Hq state jurisdiction.

Adra SER ke pass hi rakhna hoga...kyuki ground staff/crew/SSE ka working conveninece bhi dekhna hoga...jyada hotch potch mein section manage karna mushkil ho jayegaa

Not two, it would be three, NR MB division having boundary till Bareilly.
But it's ok for a large populous state like UP.
For MP also it would be three zones:- CR, SECR and WCR

Railway corporation bahut bada political agenda hai...workers union aur opposition aisa easily hone nahi denge.
See most of the reorganization suggestion coming are due to incompetency of Rail administrative officers who focus on development of focal points but leave the boundary regions at the mercy of god. But here we are taking about politicians approach who focus only on the development of their intra state connectivity's succumbing to vote bank. Also, we should understand that there is limit of economic and operation viability up to which reorganization suggestions can be materialized on the ground.
Regarding NCR Jhansi div its difficult to bifurcate the bina - dholpur section as per state wise boundary as gwalior-morena -bhind -sheopuri belt is surrounded by UP on three sides. So some negotiation is required on the part of both zones/states.

Having two divisions in a state and within one zonal HQ only helps in getting all around development and hence both divisions TVC and PGT are amply justified. But despite being an old division PGT has failed in getting ample originating northbound trains for regions like kozhikode and shoranur in Kerala itself and more importantly for Mangaluru region. MAQ needs to be snatched away from it as long pending demands of providing intra state as well as north bound connectivity went unnoticed for long for decades

I feel and have reiterated the same multiple times above in same thread that setting up of new division would be a difficult task as the recommendation of Viveck Debroy Committee report to reduce setup/office infra cost has been accepted by this regime in pas term. Even SCoR was a UPA govt present to AP compensating for carving out Telangana state in 2014.
Only zonal reformations ( and divisional rearrangements) to a little bit can be expected keeping in consideration that convenience of ground crew/field officers like SSE( sections)

If the changes suggested could have been implemented, Karnataka would have only two zones.
