Good that SWR took extra efforts to run many interstate trains. Can SWR specify how many extra intrastate trains (of other zones towns) run during summer ?
For example, Belagavi to Kalaburagi/ Bidar or Ballari to Mangalore or Mysore/ Hassan to Raichur etc.

Health issues due to vehicular pollution is more than by cutting trees for local trains.
In fact, respiratory problems in Bangalore are mainly due to polluted air. Everyone is spending 2 to 3 hours in heavy traffic roads. Instead, if BSRP is implemented, more fresh air will be available which will compensate trees cut.
Bangalore can become garden city once again only if vehicles are reduced on roads.

My point was that by removing Seshadri RSA with SMVB NCJ and thereby saving 2 rakes, can Kondaveedu be made daily. RSA between Kondaveedu and Seshadri.
