Two special trains will operate between Durg and Tundla stations to facilitate pilgrims traveling to the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Both trains will follow the route: Durg, Raipur, Bhatapara, Uslapur, Pendra Road, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, New Katni Junction, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Govindpuri, and Etawah before reaching Tundla. Train numbers are 08793 (Durg-Tundla) and 08794 (Tundla-Durg) for the first trip, and 08795 (Durg-Tundla) and 08796 (Tundla-Durg) for the second.

08794 (Tundla-Durg) departs Tundla on January 21st, 2025, at 5:00 AM and arrives in Durg on January 22nd, 2025, at 5:00 AM. Similar schedules are in place for Train 08795 (Durg-Tundla) departing February 15th, 2025, and Train 08796 (Tundla-Durg) departing February 17th, 2025. These trains will run for 28 trips to manage the expected large crowds during the Kumbh Mela, supplementing the over 13,000 regular trains with an additional 3,000 special trains.
