Any news on Omkareshwar – MHOW (DADN) gauge conversion work? I was in Omkareshwar last year; local people told me survey work was in progress as the soil in the existing route wasn't suitable for gauge conversion. They are talking about a longer route. I had the opportunity to travel on the Meenakshi Express a long time ago, up to Kacheguda. It was a memorable trip. Due to gauge conversion, the train is stopped. The known route to Ujjain was also a very pleasant journey.

Omkareshwar - MHOW (DADN) gauge conversion ka koi update hai? Main pichhle saal Omkareshwar gaya tha, waha ke logon ne bataya tha ki survey ka kaam chal raha hai kyunki existing route ki mitti gauge conversion ke liye suitable nahi hai. Wo log ek lamba route bana rahe hain. Bahut pehle mujhe Meenakshi express se Kacheguda tak jaane ka mauka mila tha, woh yaadgar safar tha. Gauge conversion ki wajah se train band hai. Ujjain tak ki journey bhi bahut suhaani thi.
