3. No new lines under them. But their last one - Kadur - Chikkamagaluru can have one more passenger to MYS and an ICE to YPR. That line is totally wasted.
---I feel this line is just a branch line, hopefully Sakhleshpura linking may give some connections from North Karnataka and Hyderabad Karnataka.
4. Passenger service is waste like the rest 2. But JRU-BAY line - most of it under MYS is the worst.
---This line is not utilized to the full. As per a railway employee who worked in CTA RDG section , He said the loop lines are not big enough to accommodate trains for crossing. Really sad to see Chitradurga to have only one PF
5. No electrification under them. But tomorrow if funds are given, then all biggies will be under them like TK-UBL. JRU-RDG.

6. Lifeline for SBC - almost all passenger trains of SBC are from MYS CDO. Also Express trains of KA and other states are being dumped on MYS.
---This is one of the reason which makes Mysore not to start any new trains,. Mysore is the only big depot in MYS division and ASK handles 2.
7. Worst like UBL in station infra like PF height etc.... for big cities under it. Hassan and Davangere are worse that HPT, BJP and BAY under UBL.

8. Saving Grace: Maintains the steepest BG Ghat - Shirdi Ghat.
---This makes MYS a class apart from others, it handles one of the most challenging terrain.

One more important aspect is the workers of Mysore division , they are one of the best. You can see their dedication and devotion in maintenance itself. They are very punctual in duty and they are very highly knowledgeable as well.
